Codling moth on Apples

Are you tired of the codling moth getting to your apples before you do?
But you don’t want to be spraying harsh chemicals to control them?

Garlic Oil

For those nasty pests around your garden try this great recipe tip that you can use as often as you like without the worry of harming your plants. You can even apply it on yourself to get rid of those nasty visitors who turn up without warning.

Whitewash

It is very common throughout Greece to find tree trunks painted with whitewash. Whitewash prevents fungal diseases, heat injury to trunks, bark borers, and insects laying eggs in the bark of the trunk, so I think everyone should be doing it!

Copper Sulphate Insecticide

To prevent fungal disease in fruit trees, blight in potatoes and insects on any other flowering trees and plants, try this easy organic copper sulphate (bluestone) spray.
