When you climb to the top of the Acropolis, you will be left spellbound by the amazing sight of Athens.
As far as the eye can see there is nothing but multi storey apartments, you might spot a tree or two and the mountainous outskirts of the city, but the rest is just concrete.
But when we spoke with the horticultural department of Athens, we were amazed at the extent of planning they have in place for the future greening up of this concrete city.
It may take 100 years but they will do it.
This Week's Guest

If you want peace and quite, there is no place better than the villages of Kozani.
During our journey we visit Platania which is a small town in the province of Kozani, with a population of 30 people and 120 goats, they were delighted to see us. We brought the population up to 32.
This is where you will see the basic of gardening, no machinery, chemicals or fertilizer used, just good old traditional hand tools and goat manure and lots of it too!

Everybody knows how much I love my wine, so we went to visit Gerovassiliou, a winery in Epanomi which is a town outside of Thessaloniki.
This winery is not only accredited as being one of the 5 best wineries in the world, the owner Evangelos has built his own wine museum!
He has over 5000 different types of cork screws and some of the oldest wine making machinery
